FAQ.

  • What should I know about booking/cancellation?
    Prior to booking you may tour the studio. Tours are held on Saturdays at 12:30. Please call ahead to confirm your appointment. ​ Please email partylikeapopstar.robyn@gmail.com to confirm date of your choice. ​ Once a date is confirmed, you will be emailed a Party Like A Pop Star contract. ​ To send us back the file, all you need to do is: 1. Print the contract 2. Fill in blank areas 3.Take picture with your smart phone 4. Send file to partylikeapopstar.robyn@gmail.com When the contract is processed; you will then receive an invoice from SQUARE. Open the email and click PAY INVOICE by CC or just etransfer from your bank account. We only accept party payments online. *Additional party services items can be added and paid for before the date of party. ​ ​ Full payment is required to book the party. If the party is booked far in advance, we can work out a payment schedule. Payments are non-refundable. Please also advise your guests to dress in pop star themed fashion to add flare to the event.
  • Does it matter if the party guests are boys and girls?
    Parties are great for everyone!!
  • What is included in the music video?
    The video will be mostly an edited documentary of the party, featuring the guest of honour in the vocal booth. It is set to the tune of the birthday party recorded song. B Town Sound is a professional working studio that has many areas for creative pictures.
  • When will I recieve my song, photos, and video?"
    When will I recieve my song, photos, and video? The Song will be mixed and ready by the end of the party. One audio CD will be given to the host at the party and digitally emailed. If you need more CDs they are $5 per guest and available at the end of the party, if requested in advance. Photos will be edited and emailed within 2 weeks. The Music Video will be edited and emailed within 3 weeks. You may see gallery here
  • What if the kids don't want make-up?
    Tattoos are available for girls or boys if they choose not to participate in make-up. This is applied in sanitary conditions using a Q-tip per child.

  • Do we get to choose our song in advance?
    We will work with you in advance to choose the best song to record. The song choice is usually a well known pop tune. Please let your guests know the song in advance, so they can prepare as well. We do offer voice lessons prior to the party at $30/half hour.
  • What should I bring and when can I setup?
    We can provide balloons, cutlery, plates, cups, and loot bags for an additional fee, noted on the package pages. Or you can choose to bring your own supplies to help create your vision of the party theme. Balloons, extra decor, and cameras welcome! Please arrive 30 mins before the party to setup. You provide your own cake & food, however we do offer catering/decor service. Please contact us for any catering inquiries or additional party services. Yes, 12 back stage passes/invitations are included in the price.
